Comments: Developed by Seversky as a two-seat export version of the P-35. Small numbers were supplied to Japan and USSR, the largest order was for Sweden which had ordered 52. At the outbreak of hostilities only two of the Swedish aircraft had been delivered and the remaining 50 aircraft were impressed into service with the USAAC. Re-engined, they served in the role of advanced trainers as the AT-12.
