DESCRIPTION:
The fuze has three firing circuits and is of type 1 construction. It may be found reversed in the fuse pocket (rotated 180 degrees) and a stop plug inserted in the base of the fuze to direct the flash from the instantaneous puffer to the 1-second delay pellet.
SAFETY SWITCHING:
Depression of the plain plunger B switches off the igniter bridges via a seperate switch.
REMARKS: Obsolete by 1941.
